Master of Science in Biotechnology

As a student of this full-time, nine-month, non-thesis biotechnology program, you'll work to become highly proficient and competitive in your basic science classes, learn the most current techniques and methods in laboratory practica, and improve your communication skills and research strategies for the next step in your career.
Core courses are taught by Graduate College faculty and Medical College faculty and include biochemistry, molecular genetics, cell and tissue biology, as well as system physiology and pharmacology. Additionally, you will take the following courses:
- Regulatory research process
- Critical reading and scientific writing
- Laboratory management
