Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Anesthesia
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is prepared to be an expert advanced practice nurse in providing anesthesia care to patients across the lifespan, at all levels of acuity and complexity. The CRNA possesses advanced skills in the provision of anesthesia, development of an anesthetic plan of care and evaluation of post-operative patient needs. Applicants must have at least one year, preferably two, of recent adult critical care experience as an RN.
